Scottish and Southern energy (SSE) are closing Harestock Road to carry out work to improve the reliability of the electricity supply to Kings Worthy.
The road will be closed between the 6th June and 4th July although SSE hope to finish sooner. Traffic is being diverted along Bereweeke Avenue while the road is closed.
The road closure is planned in 3 stages:
Stockbridge Road to Kennel Lane 6th -15th June
Kennel Lane to Priors Dean Road 16th – 22nd June
Priors Dean Road to Andover Road 23rd June – 4th July
Work will then carry on down Well House Lane to Kings Worthy.
