Action Weekend

Join Jackie Porter's growing volunteer team. Our second February Action Weekend will be even bigger and better than the first!

key_poster.jpgWinchester is one of only four target seats where the Liberal Democrats topped the poll in 2010. The seat was held by Mark Oaten from 1997 to 2010. With a Tory majority of only 3048, we are determined to win back Winchester in 2015.

The most powerful thing we can do to persuade people to vote for Jackie on May 7th is talk to them one-to-one.

Our main focus on our Action Weekend will be knocking on doors and talking to voters, but we’ll also be phoning, delivering leaflets and doing clerical jobs.

You don't have to come to the whole weekend (though you are very welcome if you would like to!). And you don't have to have volunteered before, Action Weekends are the perfect opportunity to get trained and learn.

The plan of action for this weekend is:

Friday - We have Lord Tim Clement-Jones coming down to join us for the day and will Canvassing at the top end of St Luke from 11.30am till around 1.30pm (Please meet at the One Stop at the top of Battery Hill). After Lunch we will then be in Oliver's Battery from 2.30pm (Please meet by the shops).

Saturday - We will be canvassing in Hiltingbury from 11am, please let me know if you are planning to join us.

Sunday - We will be out in force in St Barnabas, basing ourselves at the Foundry from 11am, if you are going to arrive later in the day please give me a call.
