Tree-mendous waste!

After the public outcry over the £1.5 million spent on designer office furniture and the spending of £12,000 on six taps, this week saw fresh evidence that the Conservatives are totally out of touch with reality.

Whilst normal Hampshire residents are tightening their belts, Hampshire Conservatives have ordered luxury landscaping for their new offices and refused to reveal the full cost to local taxpayers.

Liberal Democrats have uncovered that the trees were in fact imported from Germany through a company in Milton Keynes. Local nursery Hilliers have confirmed that they would be able to provide the trees, but supporting local business does not seem to be on the Conservatives' agenda.

Dismissing local people's concerns, Hampshire County Conservatives have only stated that it was within the £40+ million budget for refurbishing their offices!
