Save The School Bus

Save the King's Worthy to Henry Beaufort Bus

In April 2026, Hampshire County Council will remove the school bus from King's Worthy to Henry Beaufort School.

This will either force children as young as 11 to walk over an hour on dangerous roads to get to school, which will be particularly dangerous in winter months, or cost parents who will have to start work later or pay for expensive taxis.

This will mean more congestion, worse air quality and higher costs for parents.

The Liberal Democrats are opposed to these plans and are campaigning for Hampshire County Council to keep this service.

Keep the King's Worthy to Henry Beaufort school bus

We, the undersigned, call on Hampshire County Council to continue to provide the school bus between Henry Beaufort and King's Worthy
