Life shouldn't be a constant struggle to pay the bills.

Whether it's heating your home, filling up the car or doing the weekly shop, everything seems to cost more these days.

Families across Hampshire are working hard, but too many are still struggling to make ends meet.

The Liberal Democrats are fighting to change that.

Our plan would:

• Cut energy bills by around £100 a year, with extra help for families with children and disabled people.
   
• Make travel cheaper by reducing train and bus fares, cutting VAT on electric vehicle charging and cutting fuel duty by 10p a litre.
   
• Support local high streets by cutting VAT for pubs, cafés and restaurants.

This would put hundreds of pounds back in people's pockets.
