Winchester Celebrates Pride

Winchester Liberal Democrats were proud to join hundreds of residents, community groups and local organisations for Winchester Pride 2026.

The colourful parade through the city was led by Winchester MP Danny Chambers, Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Sudhakar Achwal, and Leader of Winchester City Council Cllr Martin Tod joining the celebrations in support of the city's LGBTQ+ community.

Danny Chambers MP said: "Pride is a celebration of how far we've come, but also a reminder that we must continue standing up for equality, inclusion and the right for everyone to be themselves."

The day featured a vibrant parade, live entertainment and community stalls, bringing people together in a celebration of diversity and inclusion.

Winchester Liberal Democrats are proud to support Pride and the values it represents. We remain committed to making Winchester a welcoming place where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and equality.
