Jane Wheeler

Jane has been connected to The Worthys for over 30 years, settling here more than a decade ago. She began her career in frontline policing, working across units dealing with crime, social issues, community pressures, and traffic. Experience that taught her to listen properly, communicate clearly, and stand her ground. She later built a career in environmental and archaeological sciences, working on national research and commercial projects, including major Winchester sites. This has given her deep insight into countryside landscapes, urban pressures, and climate impacts.

She works closely with charities supporting people at risk of homelessness across Winchester. Jane is grounded, realistic, and shaped by what really happens in life.
