Danny votes to protect Winter Fuel Allowance
Danny Chambers has voted against the Government’s plans to cut the Winter Fuel Payment
The triple lock on pensions is a proud Liberal Democrat achievement that gives invaluable security and certainty to some of the most vulnerable in society.
At the last election, the Conservatives pledged to keep the triple lock on pensions so that they went up by the same rate as prices or wages. It was a crucial guarantee that meant pensioners would be able to keep up with the cost of living.
